The company's experience in the industry has shown that for a security personnel to be disciplined smart and intelligent, there is need for continuous and up to date security training.

In order to maintain our leadership position in the industry and forge a role for others to emulate, substantial percentage of our annual vote is apportioned to security training.

With burning zeal to improve on training, a giant step was taken in 1992 by involving external professionals in the security world to supplement the efforts of our conventional training instructors.

Our training program for freshers (new recruits) take a duration of six (6) weeks. The program is spread over four (4) principal security training stages. The stages for freshers are:

• Basic security training.
• Paramilitary training. (Drilling and salutation).
• Field training (practical).
• Case studies.

Hogan Guards has a subsidiary limited liability company, pioneering the use of high accuracy automatic fingerprint identification system (AFIS) in West Africa by using biometric technology. The mission is to help in the pre-qualification process of potential employees in other to be able to avoid mistaken identity, which is very prevalent in working environment especially in the Banking sector.
